Flamingo Land 2024

As the 2024 season draws to a close, we’d like to invite you to join the Club on a visit to North Yorkshire’s premier theme park destination, Flamingo Land. Now in its 65th year of operation, the park is home to ten roller coasters including the Vekoma SLC Kumali, the S&S El Loco coaster Mumbo Jumbo and the newest addition, the Intamin ten-looper Sik. The park also features the Cliff Hanger drop tower, the Zamperla Megadisk-O ride Navigator, the wonderfully quirky Mischief Mansion dark ride, and an extensive zoo featuring all manner of animals large and small.

Our day begins with the first ride on Sik at park opening time.  This is followed by free time in the park until it closes at 17:00.  Each participant will also receive two fast passes to be used on any rides during the day.

In addition, the Hull Fair is operating between 12:00 and 23:00 on Saturday 5th October. One of the largest travelling fairs in Europe, it features over 250 rides and attractions. There will be no organised Club events at the fair, but it is perhaps worth considering if you’re looking for something to do in the area on the Saturday! We will be setting up a WhatsApp Group prior to the trip and this will give you the opportunity to arrange meeting up with other members.

The price for the trip is £32.00 / €35.50 for members and £35.00 / €38.50 for non-members. This covers park admission, first ride on Sik, plus two fast passes.
