Deadline - Friday 24th April 2026   Dear ECC members & fellow enthusiasts, The Republic of Finland is a country in Northern Europe. It has land borders with Norway, Sweden & Russia, and coastlines on the Gulf of Bothnia & Gulf of Finland. It has a population of 5.6m people, an area of 338,000 sq km and in 2025 was voted the happiest country in the world for the 8th consecutive year. It is also home to 26 operating roller coasters. These include the launched Intamin Taiga, the world's most northerly wooden coaster Thunderbird, the country's only Alpine Coaster the Ruka Coaster, and Vuoristorata, one of the world's last remaining scenic railways. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to attempt to ride every single one of these roller coasters in a single trip. Over the course of 6 days, we will visit 6 amusement parks, a ski resort and Finland's largest travelling fair. Also, we will venture to the Arctic Circle, visit Santa's village, have the opportunity to meet Santa Claus, Mrs Claus, elves & reindeer, and experience the Land of the Midnight Sun. So join us for what promises to be a magical and memorable experience, as we take on Mission: Finnpossible!   Itinerary: Day 1: Särkänniemi Amusement Park Day 2: PowerPark Day 3: Vauhtipuisto, Suomen Tivoli Day 4: Santa Claus Village, Ruka Ski Resort Day 5: Nokkakivi Park, Tykkimäki Day 6: Linnanmäki   The trip will start around 0800 from central Helsinki on Sunday 28th June 2026. Hotel accommodation for the night of Saturday 27th June is included in the trip, meaning that you are free to arrive in Helsinki anytime on the Saturday. Please note that travel from your home country to Helsinki is not included. You are responsible for arranging this. The trip will end late in the evening on Friday 3rd July. Hotel accommodation for the night of 3rd July is also included in the trip, to enable you to depart at your own leisure on Saturday 4th July. Please be aware that this trip will involve a reasonable amount of coach travel, including some 3+ hour drives, some relatively early morning starts and some late evening finishes. Therefore, please bring stamina, patience and good humour!   What you get for your money: The trip cost covers 7 nights hotel accommodation with breakfast, park entry, park extras including Exclusive Ride Sessions, trip badge, tour T-shirt, coach transport and dinner at two of the parks. Lunch and dinner for the rest of the trip will be at your own cost, but we will continue to work with the parks on providing additional meals. An all-ride wristband for the travelling fair is also included.   Room option: We have a limited amount of single rooms but also double/twin rooms available.  If you have a room mate who is going to be booking separately please drop an email to tripbookings@coaster.club to let the team know, thanks.  If you are looking for us to match you up with some one to share, then again please email us.   Age limit: Anyone under the age of 18 will have to travel with an adult member acting as a guardian, who is responsible for the minor’s conduct throughout the trip.   Number of Places: There are limited places on this trip and we are currently planning for one coach, meaning a maximum of 65 places. If the number of applicants exceeds the number of places available, then a draw will take place. The draw will take place right after the deadline, when you will be contacted. Please note that in all previous trips, a draw has never had to be used.   Entry requirements: Finland is in the European Union (EU) and the Schengen area. If you are a national from a country outside the EU wishing to visit or travel within the EU, you will need a valid passport and possibly a visa. You are solely responsible for ensuring your validity to enter Finland.   Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance for the entirety of the trip. This should also  include cover for illness and not being able to travel.   Deadline: If we have not received your application by the date at the top of this page, you will not be able to secure a place.   WhatsApp Group: We will be having a WhatsApp group for the trip; these have proved both useful and popular over the last couple of years. If you wish to be added to this, please include your mobile telephone number when booking.   Details we need: If you are successful in gaining a place on the trip then we will be in contact after the deadline to ask you for further details that will be required.  A reminder that you have to have a valid passport as per the terms of entry into Finland and again this is your responsibility!   How to Apply: Click on the link to book!! Enter the details that are required on the form.  You have the option of paying a deposit of £200 (£250 single room) or the full amount of £1,049 (£1,449 single room).  £200 of the sum will be a non-refundable element (£250 for single room). The full balance will be required once your place on the trip is confirmed after the deadline!
